JUST GOOD FRIENDS


1. Listen (and pay a lot of attention) to the plot of the play we are going to watch tomorrow.

Polly is a schoolgirl who 1.................. to the local comprehensive school. She 2....................really like it. She’d prefer to spend time with her friends, or go shopping, or go 3......................the cinema, or listen to music. Peter’s in her class and he’s a brilliant student 5...................... is good at everything. Peter likes school. He actually likes studying. Well, we don’t want to give away all the story 9...................Polly does find a way. Something happens to change her school completely 10.........................she meets Stanley, her guardian angel. Her school becomes really strange. And what happens 11.......................... Peter? Well, he changes too, but to see how you will have to 12................to the performance.


2.Matching activity:

-After having listened to the story of “Just good friends” we will learn more about the characters.

-We are going to divide the class in three groups and we will give you a sheet of paper each.

-Try to match these two groups of sentences.

Polly is always dreaming but now it is your turn. Imagine the details about your perfect style of living.

Write a letter to a friend explaining your perfect life. Use these sentences to structure your writing:
