Hello kids! Welcome to our computer class from Unit 4: Discover the British Isles!

Today's class is Let's head the British Isles.

In this class we have to study:

-the name of the regions of the British Isles
-some important information about each region
-find a photograph of each region in google images.

Warm up activity: Look at the photo of this map and compare the distance between the British Isles and the place where you leave.

Activity 1: Open an open office document and go to google images. Click HERE.

-find a map of the British Isles (NOT Great Britain) and paste (pegalo) it on the open office document. Write as a title "British Isles".

SCOTLAND


Soctland is in the north of United Kingdom. It has four important cities: Edimburgh (the capital), Glasgow, Inverness and Aberdeen. Scotland has many castles and many lakes ("loch" in Gaelic). Gaelic is the native language of Scotland but now people speak mostly English. The weather in Scotland is rainy and foggy in winter and warm in summer.
