Good morning and welcome to our first splitting class at the computer lab!

A. Here you have my presentation, you just have to read it. (Next class you'll do something similar)

Hello! My name is Xisca and I'm going to be your English teacher this year. I am 30 years old. I have got dark hair and brown eyes. I work at IES Marratxí. Here you can see me at the entrance of our high-school.

She is my friend Gloria. She is also an English teacher at IES Marratxí. She has got short hair and brown eyes. She is very friendly and a very nice person.

This is my dog. Its name is "Whisky" and it is four years old. It is small and black. It is a bit nervous and it likes playing a lot.

My hobbies are swimming, traveling, photography, reading and hiking. My favourite music in English is Madonna. I also like Coldplay. These are my favourite CDs.

My favourite food is chocolate and my favourite lunch is fried eggs with chips!

Body parts: head, hair, face, forehead, ears, eyes, eyebrow, eyelid, eyelashes, nose, mouth, tooth/teeth, tongue, chin, cheek, neck, back, shoulders, breast, belly, belly-button, elbow, wrist, hand, fingers, thumb, nail, hips, leg, thigh, calf, knee, foot/feet, toe.

First splitting class

Well, today we have our first lesson in the computer lab. I hope you enjoy it!
In this class you are going to write about a famous person and look for a picture of him/her.

Read and follow these instructions:

- Go to www.google.com and look for information about a famous person you like (singer, artists, sportist, musician, writer, painter...) IN ENGLISH!

- Open a new window (Fitxer / nova pestanya)

- Click on this post and go the "comments" section, click on it.

- In the box you will find under "Leave your comment" you have to write a description about him/her.

You must write about the following items:

Name
Age
Nationality
Place where he/she lives
Job
Physical appearance
Hobbies
Others

- Here you have an example:

Her name is Madonnna (Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone Ritchie). She was born in Michigan (USA) in 1958 but she lives in Marylebone (London). She is a singer, an actress and a composer. Madonna is short, she has got fair hair and brown eyes although she usually uses blue contact lens. She has eleven albums and has acted in twenty-two films.She has got three children: two sons and a daughter.
