Hi guys,
Today we are going to revise 3 different ways to talk about the future:
- A. WILL (Future Simple)
- B. BE (am/is/are) GOING TO + verb
- C. BE (am/is/are) + verb in ING (Present Continuous)
A. In English there is a magical word (an auxiliary verb) that turns the verb into the FUTURE.
Remember it:
Interrogative: (QW) + is / are / am + Subject + going to + V ?
C. There is a third way to form the future: using the PRESENT CONTINUOUS.
Read the following photo and do the activities you will find below the image.

The FUTURE and 1st Conditional
Hi guys,
Today we are going to revise 3 different ways to talk about the future:
- A. WILL (Future Simple)
- B. BE (am/is/are) GOING TO + verb
- C. BE (am/is/are) + verb in ING (Present Continuous)
Let's go for it!
A. In English there is a magical word (an auxiliary verb) that turns the verb into the FUTURE.
Remember it:
Affirmative form: Subject + WILL + verb
('ll)
Negative form: Subject + WILL NOT + verb
(won't)
Interrogative form: (QW) + WILL + Subject + verb ?

B. There is another way to form the future: BE GOING TO + VERB.
Read the following photo and do the activities you will find below the image.
Affirmative form: Subject + is / are / am going to + verb
Negative form: Subject + isn't / aren't / am not going to + verb
Interrogative: (QW) + is / are / am + Subject + going to + V ?

C. There is a third way to form the future: using the PRESENT CONTINUOUS.

D. First CONDITIONAL SENTENCE
Se forma amb IF + simple present + simple future (WILL).
S'utilitza quan una situació és real o possible.
Ex: If it rains today, I'll stay at home
Pres.S Future
Si avui plou, quedaré a casa.
Pres.S Future
Utilitzam el primer condicional per xerrar d'una possibilitat real en el futur, és a dir, d'una acció que és possible que ocorri en el futur sempre i quan es cumpleixi una condició.
Per exemple:
Imaginem que una amiga me va demanar que demà l'ajudés per estudiar un examen que farà aquesta setmana, jo no sé si la podré ajudar demà perquè he de fer moltes coses.
- If I have time tomorrow, I will help you. (Si tenc temps demà, t'ajudaré)
- TIP: La frase també pot tenir el IF al mig de la frase. Sempre a la dreta del IF posarem el Present
I will help you If I have time tomorrow (T'ajudaré si tenc temps demà. )
Look at more examples:
- If we don't hurry, we'll miss our bus.
Si no feim via, perdrem el nostre autobús. - If he is busy now, I will come back tomorrow.
- Si està ocupat, tornaré demà.
- If I have time, I'll visit my parents this afternoon.
Si tenc temps, visitaré els meus pares avui horabaixa. - If it is warm tomorrow, we'll go to the beach.
Si demà fa bona temperatura, anirem a la platja.

3D Working with the Future!
Hi guys!
Welcome to our Unit 7 computer class!
Today we are going to revise the three forms we can use to talk about the Future!:
Present Continuous (is/are/am + ING)
to be (is/are/am) + going to + verb
Future Simple (will/won't)
1. Practise the structure to be + going to HERE , HERE, HERE and HERE.
2. Practise the Future simple tense with WILL / WON'T HERE, HERE and HERE.
3. Practise the Present Continuous AQUÍ i AQUÍ.
Now you can relax a little bit from grammar and learn interesting aspects from another culture, in this case the Indian culture and its caste system.
0. You need an open office document and Wide World Web (internet).
1. Go to internet and look for a map of India. Copy and paste it on an open office document.
2. Look for the name of the most important cities in India.
3. Write the name of the four most important religions in India.
4. Go to google and write the name of ten official languages spoken in India.
5. What is the “Taj Mahal”? Which four architectural elements has it got?
6. Look for a picture of the Taj Mahal and paste it on your open office document.
7. The society in India is divided into groups. Go to internet and find the name of the five most important castes.
8. Who are the dalits? You can describe it in Catalan or Spanish.

1. Revise unit 8 vocabulary (Places to go) HERE.
2. Practise the modal verb must (has de) HERE.

In October, the Eurochocolate Festival takes place in Perugia, in Italy. This a big festival for people who love chocolate. You can learn about chocolate and you can eat lots of chocolate too.
Exercises on the notebook (write the questions and answers):
A) In which four countries do the festivals take place?
B) Read the sentences and identify the festivals.

The tomato festival, or Tomatina, takes place every year in Buñol (Valencia) in Spain. It's in August. People come to the centre of town with thousands of tomatoes. They have a tomato figh.
Strawberry festival
In Florida in the USA, there's a strawberry festival each year. the festival is in March. There are parades, games and funfairs. People eat strawberries and celebrate the beginning of the strawberry season.
Cheese-rolling festival

Practise First Conditional
In this lesson we are going to practise first conditional and finish the Webquest about Australia.
Remember how to form the Simple Future:
Affirmative: Subject + WILL + Verb
Negative: Subject + WON'T+ Verb
Interrogative: WILL + Subject + Verb?
1. Revise the Future affirmative and negative HERE and the interrogative HERE.
How to form the First Conditional:
If it rains today, I'll stay at home.
Si avui plou, me quedaré a casa.
If I have time, I'll visit my parents this afternoon.
Si tenc temps, visitaré als meus pares avui horabaixa.
(Or I'll visit my parents this afternoon If I have time)
